How to ask your manager to pay for a course
Most of our students expense their cohort. A short email template, and the three things managers want to know.

Most companies with more than 50 people have a learning budget, and a writing course is one of the easiest things to approve because the result shows up in your work every week.
Managers want three things: what you will be able to do after, how much time it takes, and what it costs. Put all three in the first two lines of your email.
We send a receipt with your company name, and invoices with PO numbers on the Team plan.
The next cohort of Writing that gets read starts October 20
Forty seats, a group of six, line edits on every draft. Applications take five minutes and most students expense it.
Live cohort courses in writing and speaking for people who do it at work. Small groups, line edits, six weeks at a time.
Taught live from Chicago, Austin, Portland and Seattle
