Terms of service
Last updated September 1, 2026. These terms cover memberships, cohorts and the course platform run by Lyceum School LLC.
Membership and cohorts
A membership gives you the recorded library and a seat in one live cohort per term, subject to seats. Seats are confirmed when your application is accepted.
Payments
Memberships are billed monthly or yearly in advance, in US dollars. Single cohorts are paid in full before week one.
Prices can change with 30 days notice and never apply to a period you have already paid for.
Refunds
Full refund until the end of week one of your first cohort. After that you can move to a later cohort once at no cost.
Your work
You own everything you write and record. You give us permission to store it and show it to your instructor and your group, only to run the cohort.
Conduct
Be kind in group feedback. We may remove anyone who harasses other students, after telling them why.
Recordings
Live sessions are recorded for students of that cohort. Do not share recordings outside your cohort.

Live cohort courses in writing and speaking for people who do it at work. Small groups, line edits, six weeks at a time.
